painting by Bharadraja Dasa; "Lord Kalki Kills the Demons at the End of the Millennium" ;
Plate 43 in Krishna Art, published by Ganga, New York 1990. ©1981 Bhaktivedanta Book Trust.
Ruchira Avatar Adi Da Samraj  was known as  Da Kalki  for brief time in 1990 and 1991,
until devotees withdrew the name from public usage due to some traditional Hindu fundamentalist
agressive associations. For example, details of the above painting reveal bloody violence.
Similar interpretive problems plague some Judaic fundamentalism regarding the "Messiah"
and some Christian fundamentalism regarding the "Second Coming" of Christ; also pictured on a white horse ]
