The Great Principle
Energy (Prakriti or Shakti) is not the Great Principle. Energy is not the Ultimate Domain of the conscious self. Energy is simply the manifest Matrix or Substance of all objects and conditions of the conscious self. To Realize that Energy, even in its Primal Form or State (prior to differentiation into particular objects and states) is not to Realize Reality, Truth, Freedom, or Perfect Happiness. It is simply to be absorbed in the Substance of all objects, without necessarily Realizing the Identity of the conscious self and without necessarily recognizing Energy in its Ultimate Source or Domain. Therefore, none of the various possible states of Energy or of knowledge and experience (subjective or objective), including savikalpa samadhi and nirvikalpa samadhi, is itself the Fulfillment of the Way.
Consciousness (Purusha) is the Great Principle. Consciousness is the Ultimate Domain of the conscious self. Consciousness is also the Ultimate Domain of the world, all objects and states of the conscious self, and Energy (the Ultimate Object and Substance of all conditional objects). To Realize that Consciousness in which the conscious self, its objects and states, and the Substantial Energy of the world are presently arising is to Realize Reality, Truth, Freedom, or Perfect Happiness.
But that Consciousness is not merely (or as a matter of fact rather than Realization in Samadhi) the interior or essential consciousness that is basic to the manifest self. That essential self-consciousness is presumed to be separate from other consciousnesses, all objects, and the Substantial Energy. Therefore, jnana samadhi and any other form of strategically exclusive inversion upon the essential self-consciousness is not the Fulfillment of the Way.
Consciousness is the Transcendental Being or Domain (Brahman or Purushottama) in which the conscious self, all other consciousnesses, all objects and states, and the Substantial Energy are arising as apparent modifications or limitations of Itself. Therefore, only that Realization (Sahaj Samadhi) in which the conscious self, all other consciousnesses, all objects and states, and the Substantial Energy are tacitly and inherently recognized (rather than strategically excluded or embraced) as transparent, non-binding, merely apparent, and unnecessary modifications of Consciousness is the Fulfillment of the Way.
Transcendental Consciousness is Radiant. That is, Reality is One, not exclusive, not divided, and not Other. All conscious selves and their objects and states are made of It and recognizable as It. The Substantial Energy is nothing but the Radiance (or Fullness) of Consciousness perceived as Object to Itself. When even the Substantial Energy is utterly recognized in and as the Transcendental Consciousness, there is only Consciousness (Bhava Samadhi). And when Consciousness is so Realized, It is Obvious as Reality or Truth. And that Realization, in Its Perfection, is Freedom, Happiness, or Translation into the Divine or Transcendental Domain, which is Obviously Consciousness and not apparent as any thing or any one that is not Simply and Fully that very Consciousness.
